About the Artist

“Art for me is as much about the journey as it is the destination. I hope that my work communicates something meaningful to you, just as the process of creating it continues to bring me joy.”

Zoran has worked professionally as an artist for almost 30 years, maintaining his studio practice in Oakville, Canada. His work spans original painting, portraiture, and Byzantine iconography, with a particular focus on traditional sacred imagery interpreted through years of practical experience.

Alongside his studio and iconography work, Zoran is also an educator and facilitator in person and through his YouTube channel, where he shares painting demonstrations, techniques, materials, and insights from his working process. As a master iconographer, he has created numerous portable icons and large-scale church compositions, with his work adorning chapels and churches in Canada and beyond.
